Hello people, i'm Firdaus from Singapore. Went to the head office with my parents to know more about APFT, and also to Kota Bahru. I shall say its so buzzing with cadets and the intructors were also very welcoming. Having all the necessary documents, i was given the offer letter and agreement. Was surprised thou cos there wasnt any interviews or aptitude test. Should join the jan 11 intake howver decided to join at a later date(april11) due to student visa and also personal reasons. Dato Jamal was great, he still gave me rm15k discount but i need to pay by 31Jan. Now im so eager to go back to sch!! see you people over there alrite. Happy New Year!

Its the only way to attract more people to join the school. Less and less people are enrolling in because the fee is too expensive for private cadets

Try looking at a different perspective, those FA have a business/school to run. Why would they want to reject aspiring pilots based on interviews/selection process after they managed to fullfill all the requirements.(dca,medical,). We have to remeber, these sch caters to trains ab-initio cadets meaning cadets who never or did not have any flying experienced whatsoever. So i guess its unfair if u guys says that they just want your money and thats it. These FA exist to help us to live our dream by giving us 2nd chance to be a commercial pilots. We might not have the innate ability to fly and pass thru all the interviews and get the cadetship programme so thats why these FA are here for. To train us from scratch to make us competent enough to be a commercial pilot. So guys be thankful yeah.

In Singapore, there are only 2 sch that offers privately sponsored cpl/ir. however, to be in this sch, my god! the selection process is as thou as ur gg thru some cadetship programme. Even if u meet the requiremens, they can even reject u just like tat. And ive friends who are still jobless after spending nearly $200k. so my point is, we cant judge FA just by looking at their selection process and just assuming that the easier to get in the more they are after your money.

just my o.ooooooo22222 cents worth. cheers people.

News update: APFT is going to be a public listed company on Bursa Malaysia(KLSE)
on the 18th March next month despite negative macro economic views of the saturated
situation on pilots' job opportunities.
re: TOP FRONT PAGE NEWS of the star online news: ''FLYING NOWHERE" couple of weeks ago.
Perhaps due to the long gearing return and the huge capital investment,
it is a wise move to solicit funds from shareholders through IPO listing,.
after all, once listed, the shareholders have their shares.....if profit, then OK
BUT if loss, then it is the shareholders loss...hehehe..
