Been there. Yep it's open to all nationality including Malaysia. They even accept SPM which your physics, maths and 1119 english must be A. Having a degree is a complement AND you pocket must be very deep. After they accept your application you have to book the assessment test at their training centre either in UK or New Zealand, sometime in Doha, and have to pay £210 non refundable.

Consist of two stage. First, aptitude test in the morning. Playing around with hand eye coordination. 5 challanges. Same like MH cadet pilot aptitude test. If you pass, you will be proceed to the evening second test. If not, just say good bye. Second test, your physics, maths and logic knowledge will be tested here. If you pass both, fly back home, and wait for the interview and medical test at Doha (or sometime they had it at their training centre).

If you pass all of it, be prepared £105000 for the training cost alone (including accomodation). It is a self sponsored MPL training program with job at QR is guaranteed but they will still look after your performance durimg training. They wont bat their eye if you just only pass. They want you to excel.

Hi, have you applied for the program? How's the prospect for Malaysian applicants?

I did around two years ago. Prospect is good provided you meet the minimum qualifications (they even accept SPM!), your communications skill is up to standard and your quality to work with one of demanding airlines in the world. But since its gonna burn my pocket for more £100K (roughly more than half of million Ringgit!) for the training alone, so bye - bye to the dream.. Sad

So Kouda kazuki what do you do for now? Do you still have the guts to become a pilot in the future? You sounded a bit despaired
