Just in case you didnt know there is a program ran by CAE to supply pilots for FLYBUBAI. Only thing is that its only to be very expensive and risky.. you have to be recommended by the flight training department for the FLYDUBAI interview, otherwise you leave CAE with a typerating and no job and owing a gold bullion to a the bank or Ah long. Big Grin

FlyDubai and CAE 737NG Type Qualification Program

Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) together with flydubai have entered into a long-term pilot training agreement that offers commercial pilots interested in having an opportunity to fly for flydubai, with less than 1,500 flying hours, instruction on the Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Dubai-based flydubai began operations in 2009. Since its launch, flydubai has created a network of more than 65 destinations across 35 countries. The airline operates a modern fleet of more than 35 Next-Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft. flydubai strives to remove barriers to travel and enhance connectivity between different cultures across its ever-expanding network.

As flydubai’s training partner, CAE will provide flydubai with a select number of type-rated B737-800 pilots. Pilots interested in learning more about the programme, should read the following information carefully and complete the online registration form at the bottom of this page.

OKey DOkey... the cost.

The cost is $33000 USD and the base training is not provided...
During the check an authorized Flydubai representative will observe the trainee and may offer an interview with them.

If you have JET ORIENTATION COURSE..it is discounted to $29000USD.

ITs one of the most expensive NG type rating... I think. Average NG type rating cost about 8/9000usd. By the way its CAE is charging for this course not FLYDUBAI. You still need to pass the interview selection by flydubai...
