Flyjavelin Flight Fund Assistance Program

Hi,

Have anyone heard of this Flyjavelin Fund Assistance Program. In Malaysia, only APFT are affiliated with them. Here is their modus operandi,

1) Take for example, CPL @ APFT cost RM280k, duration of 2 years.
2) You need to have RM140k in hand, hence Flyjavelin will match this fund 50/50.
3) After graduation, you are bonded with them. They will assign flying job for you.

What do your guys think of this?

Ya, sounds good if we have cash in hand. Considering the hardship of getting a flying job after graduation (for privately fund student), it might not be a bad idea to be bonded with flying contract. Like what you said, its relatively a new program hence not much of testimonial or review that can be found online. I wonder what others Flylah forumer think of it..

ya, agree with u bro . a bond of flying job is good for us, moreover they are supporting 25% of the total fee of ur course . worth to have a try

i have just contact with the person in charge of javalin program. throughout the conversation, this is what i obtain from them. They will try their best ( not 100% guarantee) to seek a job for u , If JAS is unable to place the graduated Trainee, JAS may
release the Trainee from the program, with no required repayment of the matching funds.

ya..i went through their TNC as well as some email replies. Well, its a big leap of faith knowing the company is not Malaysia-based, thus anything went wrong, all the hard-earned money will be a gone case. But on the other hand, they seem to be genuine enough so far. Maybe Manosh can let some comment on some of his mates that took this program....

Boys,

I have been following this thread with full of interest, not because I would like to enroll myself but to see who will get CONNED first ..........Big Grin

Have you heard about the NIGERIAN scam, BLACK money or something similar to that? I am not accusing anyone here but hey, if it is too good to be true, it can't be true.

My reasons are simple:

1. What is this company got to do with you? Is it related to you or you mum and dad are among the board of directors?

2. Why is this company willing to subsidise you training without anything in return?

3. Why is this company wants you to bank in the money in their account instead of directly to the flying school?

4. Why is this company willing to take the troubles to find you a job after graduation?

5. Is this company a charity organisation or Warren Buffet's Foundation or something similar to that which spends money to the one who is in need?

.............etc.........etc ...........Huh

I could list down more but 5 is enough for you boys to think about it. Air Asia is not spending even 1 sen in your training. You have to pay everything right from the word 'GO'

Malindo is asking something like RM145k for type rating + line training.

MAS could not guarantee its cadet a job. There were MAS cadets who worked as cabin crew/ground staff before.

Therefore, how on earth a company, which is not an airline itself, willing to sponsor half of the training cost and able to offer you a job?..........Idea

GET REAL !!!! Exclamation

I know it is none of my business but looking at people falling into traps and getting CONNED made me sick ..........Angry

I am more than happy to be corrected if someone could provide a LEGITIMATE evidence that this is NOT A SCAM .......
