IATA (INTERNATIONAL AERO TRANING ACADEMY) has got such a bad reputation and that owner/director JEAN MARC ELOY is a bull sh1t artist. Don't the locals check the bugger on google? Just look at what he left behind in Arizona.

Now he is about to do in the Sabahans? Nice going guys.

For you budding pilots, here is one story, go read, then you decide:

He is a sweet talker............and where is his wife? She was in it too: Jean-Marc and Teresa E Eloy. Go read about them!

Sorry, I have to be the wet blanket....

The flying school is the same school as IFAS sandakan and Austral Academy, they just change the name and the principal but the staff all the same.

I did some homework to find out which school in Malaysia is 'RELIABLE' and worth spending your $$$$, especially to private candidates. The answer is in this order:-

1. MFA
2. APFT

*Sorry - I could not reveal the details*

Besides the booms and glooms of APFT, it takes about 22-24 months for one to complete the course - CPL/IR (A) - at the price of RM235k after discount whereas MFA only needs 16 - 18 months but at the price of RM260k ...... Sad

Ya, should include HMA, they are doing really good now. Can guarantee cadets to graduate on time within 18 months provided the cadet don't have discipline problems.

Is this IFAS rebrand itself again? From Austral Academy to IFAS and now to IATA? What happen to IFAS? I thought IFAS got DCA approval already.

It's sort of like 'management changing' (compare with GGIFA scenario. No offense,k?!) to establish everything all over again (we call it).
It's now called IATA (IFAS and Austral company officially do not exist anymore).
