jflin87 Wrote:Dear all,

Newbie here.. I am about to conduct my medical check up.
I wear spec, short sighted of 3.75 and 4.25 for left and right eyes.

May I know what is the procedure I should conduct my medical check up?
Is it firstly, need go for eyes test at Tun Hussein Onn Hospital, and then X-ray and lastly medical class 1 check up?

Thanks and regards,
Jf

I dont think its necessary to go to THO Hospital..unless u do ur initial medical checkup that cannot conduct the eye test and xray..
so it depends on which DAME u go...
correct me if im wrong..

need to know more about the min height requirement. what if a candidate has passed all the stages but lack of 1-2 cms from the minimum height of 163 cm? any those who managed to get into the programme?

i saw a lot of AirAsia and AirAsia X captains and fos who are quite not that tall compared to the minimum height.

tq!

For medical check up, your height doesnt affect it at all.

For airline, I saw before people who dont meet the height requirement fail during the initial stage. That was back in MAS days. But in airline there are a few whose height is below the stated 163cm but still operating.

Most of them are privately funded student. As long as you can perform during the interview, i guess it doesnt affect you.
