Your school should have some form of arrangement with the companies that offer the OJT.

Top of the list should be an Engineering Department of an Airlines that handled both International & Domestic flights. Second should be an Engineering Departments of a Domestic Airlines. Followed by a full fledged Aircraft Service Provider the likes of MHS & Weststar. Then a dedicated MRO the likes of Airod, Systematic & Mycopter.

Pray do tell what do you mean by the working culture there is not cultivated? This is not a compliment no? I do know of some good folks there who are patience enough to show the ropes to some obnoxious trainees who think they are god's give to aviation. imho, your attitude and approach will determine the success of your ojt/oje and not the place.

The infrastructure, equipments and facilities are amazing . In fact it's like a warehouse of knowledge for you to discover by yourself, However the truth is always sucks......The working culture doesn't really reflect the real MRO industry player....

MAS's 'working' culture is unique and bordering weird at times.. culture that need to be change in order for them to survive.. kinda late now.
When I left in 97, I said if MAS needs to prosper and excel, sack everyone.
Looks like it came true.. albeit too late.

Better late than never i would say. I am sure mas will do alright. With fuel prices down, less people to pay, a bit of twicking on their network and the equipment they use and starting on a completely new slate don't see how they could fail. working culture for what ever its worth should not sit high on one's list when selecting OJT location. It is the accesibility in meeting your ojt objectives that would be far more important.
